Vivo’s Y27 5G smartphone saw its Indian debut back in July 2023. The company may now be gearing up to launch its successor in India, the Vivo Y28 5G, if a new leak by Appauls is to be believed. It suggests the phone might arrive in India soon, and also reveals the design and potential price of Vivo Y28 5G.
As you can see, the smartphone has been
leaked in what looks like a marketing material of the phone. The image throws
light on some potential launch offers, including an instant discount of Rs
1,500 and easy EMI options starting at Rs 31 per day.
While mum on the specs, the report also
reveals the expected price for the Y28 5G. The base variant with 4GB RAM and
128GB storage could land at Rs 13,999, while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB
models might come in at Rs 15,499 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Additionally,
bank discounts could shave off 2.7% from the price tag.
The leaked image also showcases the phone
in two vibrant hues: Crystal Purple and Glitter Aqua. It also hints at a
dual-camera setup on the back, arranged vertically. The power button and volume
rockers appear on the right side of the device.
The Vivo Y28 5G also recently nabbed BIS
and Bluetooth SIG certifications. Rumors speculate that the phone might be
powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, built on a 6nm process. This
chip could be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Likewise, the
device is said to have a 50MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery.
Although Vivo hasn’t officially confirmed
the launch date, the leaked information and certifications suggest Vivo Y28
5G’s arrival is near.
