Infinix is gearing up to introduce its new smartwatch globally, likely named Infinix Watch 2. The upcoming device, with the model number XW2, has made an appearance on the SDPPI certification website, hinting at an imminent launch.
While Infinix is yet to confirm this, this
won’t be the brand’s first smartwatch in the market as it has previously
launched the XW1 and XW1 Pro smartwatches in some markets around the globe.
The previous model called the Infinix XW1
features a 1.83-inch TFT square-shaped display with Bluetooth 5.2, the XW1
offers over 100 clock interfaces, heart rate and acceleration sensors, and
various functions like heart rhythm measurement, pedometer, blood oxygen rate
measurement, sleep tracking, breath tracking, special day tracking for women,
music control, camera control, water drinking reminder, sedentary reminder,
voice assistant, weather updates, alarm, games, calculator, and flashlight.
Its IP68-rated body makes it water and
dust-resistant, suitable for an active lifestyle. While Infinix is yet to spill
the beans on the Infinix Watch 2, the anticipation is building as the brand
ventures into the global smartwatch scene. Stay tuned for more updates on this
upcoming tech.
