TECNO is soon expected to refresh its CAMON series of smartphones with the launch of the CAMON 20 series. There are three smartphones in this series listed on the Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications.
The models that have been listed are the
TECNO CAMON 20 and CAMON 20 Pro. Surprisingly, the CAMON 20 Pro has two model
numbers: TECNO-CK6n and TECNO-CK7n. All three models have a display with a
center-punch hole, power and volume controls on the right, and uniform bezels
around the screen. According to the listing, all three models will have 8GB of
RAM, a Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 480 DPI screen
density, and the most recent Android 13 software.
The main distinction among the three
devices is only the processor used on them. The TECNO CAMON 20, the series’
entry-level phone, is powered by the MediaTek MT6769V, which is essentially the
Helio G85 SoC. This is the same SoC that was used in CAMON 19, which is an Octa
Core 12nm processor with a Mali-G52 GPU.
Surprisingly, the CAMON 20 Pro, which is
based on the TECNO-CK6n, features the same chipset as the CAMON 20 smartphone.
The CAMON 20 Pro with the model number TECNO-CK7n, on the other hand, should
come with the MediaTek MT6789 SoC. This is the Helio G99 SoC, which a 6nm
processor coupled with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
Other details about the upcoming CAMON 20
series are unknown. More information about the launch should be available in
the coming weeks.
