Huawei has silently launched a new smartwatch in the Watch GT 3 series called the Huawei Watch GT 3 SE. Unlike the upcoming Watch GT Cyber, the GT 3 SE is meant for the global market and has already appeared on retail sites in Vietnam and Poland.
According to the official listing, the
Watch GT 3 SE sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466
pixels and a 46 mm casing. In addition, the company claims that the wristwatch
weighs 35.6 g when the polymer fiber watch strap is not attached. This strap is
available in the colors Graphite Black and Wilderness Green. The Watch GT 3 SE
and Watch GT 3 share the same button arrangement, incidentally. In particular,
the Watch GT 3 SE sports both a physical button and a digital crown on its
right side.
Like other Huawei smartwatches, the Watch
GT 3 SE comes with Huawei TruSport, which gives personalized recommendations to
improve your workouts and sports performance. Speaking of sports, the
smartwatch features over 100 distinct sports modes. Health-related features
include blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring. Huawei TruSleep 3.0 is also
onboard which accurately tracks your sleep patterns and also helps track
snoring and sleep talking.
There are a bunch of different reminders
to aid the user like a reminder for moving around, drinking water, sleeping, a
medication reminder, a reminder for measuring blood pressure, and much more.
Huawei boasts that the Watch GT 3 SE should last up to two weeks with normal
use and one week with heavy use. Lastly, the smartwatch comes with 5 ATM water
resistance making it a good swimming companion.
Shopee already offers the Watch GT 3 SE in
Vietnam for VND 4,490,000 (US$ 180), however, Huawei has not yet announced
prices for all territories. Meanwhile, Poland has started selling the
smartwatch for about € 170.
