Two months after the Mi 9T, Europe is
finally getting the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro – its version of the Redmi K20 Pro.
Currently, it’s on pre-order in the Netherlands at Belsimpel, but it should
spread to other stores before long.
The price for the 6/64GB model is € 430.
You can upgrade to the 6/128GB version for € 50 more. Available colors are Red,
White and Black, plus Blue (only for the 128GB version). Note that the phone
lacks a microSD slot.
As a quick reminder, the difference
between the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro is mainly in the chipset – a Snapdragon
855, up from S730. Also, the 4,000mAh battery supports faster charging, 27W.
The Mi 9T Pro also boasts a 48MP main camera, 8MP telephoto (2x), 13MP ultra
wide on the rear, plus a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.
The 6.39” screen is a Super AMOLED panel
with 1080p+ resolution, so it can’t quite challenge the OnePlus 7 Pro, but the
€ 550 OnePlus 7 must be sweating under its collar. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is available
from €330 (for the 6/64GB model).
