Yesterday, Huawei held a conference in Xi’an
and officially released the Huawei Enjoy 7S aimed at younger customers. This is
a full-screen smartphone made especially for the thousand-yuan market. There
are a few versions with a 3+32GB memory combination priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 226)
as well as a 4+64GB variant at 1699 yuan (US$ 256). The pre-sales have already
begun, but the phone will ship on December 22.
Though this is the cheapest full-screen smartphone
of the Chinese leading smartphone maker, it still yields the Xiaomi Redmi 5/5
Plus launched recently in terms of pricing. But Huawei shouldn’t worry about a
thing because the Enjoy 7S comes with many decent features and there shouldn’t
be a problem to win customers’ hearts.
The Huawei Enjoy 7S is packed with a 5.65-inch
full-screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9, resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and
supporting black screen gestures, three-finger screenshot, and a few other
user-friendly features. But what’s more amazing this display is put on a quite
acceptable-size housing with dimensions of 150.1 mm × 72.05 mm × 7.45 mm. Thus it
is identical to the iPhone with a 4.7-inch screen. So single-hand operations
are implemented with no additional efforts.
As for the appearance, the Huawei Enjoy 7S uses a
traditional metal housing with a three-stage antenna design and a rear-mounted
fingerprint reader. By the way, this phone also supports face unlock feature
that should be enabled after the update. There are for color options to choose
from – black, blue, pink, and gold.
This is a regular mid-range smartphone sporting
hardware that shouldn’t have a problem with daily tasks. It is equipped with a
Kirin 659 octa-core chip, 3000mAh battery supporting reverse charging, 8MP
front shooter, 13+2MP dual-camera on the back, and runs on EMUI8.0 based on
Android 8.0.
