Huawei has expanded its smart glasses lineup with the launch of the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 square frame sunglasses, priced at 2,299 yuan (US$ 318). This new model joins the previously released frameless, aviator, square semi-frame, titanium hollow, and gold wire styles, offering a wider range of options for consumers.
The square-frame sunglasses feature a
full-frame design with dark lenses that provide excellent sun protection. The
lenses are coated with 11 layers of high-quality coating, ensuring both style
and functionality. Despite the new design, the configuration of the temples
remains unchanged, maintaining the sleek and comfortable fit of the Huawei
Smart Glasses 2.
One of the key improvements in the Huawei
Smart Glasses 2 is the slimmer square frame design. The widest part of the
speaker temple is 20% smaller, measuring only 9.7mm. The widest part of the
tail is 28% smaller, now measuring just 8.3mm.
Under the hood, the Huawei Smart Glasses 2
boasts impressive audio capabilities. It features the industry’s first
unidirectional dual-diaphragm surging unit, which has increased the speaker
amplitude by 40% and media playback loudness by 30%. This translates to a more
immersive and powerful audio experience for users.
In terms of battery life, the Huawei Smart
Glasses 2 can provide up to 11 hours of listening time or 9 hours of talk time
on a single charge. The fast charging capabilities allow users to enjoy 3 hours
of listening after just 10 minutes of charging. Users can get a full charge in
just 50 minutes.
The smart glasses can also withstand the
elements, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. One of the
standout features of the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 is its multi-device connectivity.
Users can freely switch audio between mobile phones and tablets equipped with
HarmonyOS. It is also compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows devices. This
flexibility ensures seamless integration with a wide range of devices.
