Leaked photos and specifications of the DJI Osmo
Action camera surfaces ahead of its slated May 15 launch. In terms of design, DJI's Osmo
Action camera does not steer away from the traditional look of existing action
cameras. Looking at the leaks, there seems to be a screen at the front and the
back. The lens also seem to protrude substantially which gives it a bit of a
thick profile.
The rumored specs for DJI Osmo Action camera
includes a 12MP 1/2.3-inch Sony CMOS sensor, an H2 image processor, and shutter
speed of 1/8000 - 120s. It supposedly supports 4K, 60fps video recording, HDR
and automatic time-lapse photography. It also has different shooting modes
including single, AEB continuous shooting, countdown shooting, multiple continuous
shooting and interval shooting.
The official launch for the Osmo Action camera is
expected to be on May 15 that was teased by DJI with an image of swimmer under
deep waters. Take these details with a grain
of salt as information, especially the specs, can change unless confirmed
officially.
