Fujitsu has announced the imminent arrival
of three new enterprise thin mini PC systems expanding the Fujitsu Thin Client
FUTRO PC range. Initially the mini PC systems will be launching in Japan later
this month with the Fujitsu Thin Client FUTRO MU937 arriving later this month
priced at US$ 1,487 or ¥ 158,900 together with the Fujitsu Thin Client FUTRO MA576
price that US$ 931 or ¥ 99,500 with the Fujitsu Thin Client FUTRO S740 arriving at
the end of May 2018 priced at US$ 557 or ¥ 59,600. All systems will feature
Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB operating system.
The latest FUTRO mini PC systems now feature a
smaller chassis for the S740 that has been reduced by about 63 percent compared
with the previous S720/N model. While still offering the same level of
interfacing and expandability. “Making the chassis more compact has reduced its
desktop footprint for a refined-looking layout. With the addition of a
custom-made mount kit, it is now also possible to attach the client chassis
directly to the VESA mount of an LCD display, allowing users to maximise their use
of work station space” says Fujitsu.
Fujitsu is also offering enhanced security solutions
to stop unauthorized access on account of third party identity fraud and data
leaks resulting from USB memory stick connections, or other external devices.
