OnePlus just teased McLaren Edition of the OnePlus
6T. It is said to feature up 10GB of RAM and the new 50W Warp Charge
technology. In case you missed it, OnePlus trademarked the Warp Charge earlier
this year. It could be similar to what OPPO did with the 50W SuperVOOC
technology found on the R17 Pro and Find X Lamborghini Edition. In our test,
the SuperVOOC charged the R17 Pro with 3,700mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent
in just 40 mins.
It is a major upgrade from the 20W OnePlus Fast
Charger of the regular OnePlus 6T which can charge its 3,700mAh battery in 1
hour and 10 mins. It could also be the new charging technology that is faster than the
40W SuperCharge of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
Interestingly, OnePlus also replaced the usual red
USB-C cable with a braided orange one. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition
will launch on December 11.
