Just a week ago, Polaroid announced its
latest Hi-Print mobile printer which prints smartphone photos into
"stickable" printed polaroids.
If you've been wanting to easily print your smartphone photos,
Polaroid's Hi-Print mobile printer could be the answer! Users just have to
download the Polaroid Hi-Print app on their
iPhone or Android devices, choose photos, customize it with text or
filters in-app, turn on the Bluetooth connectivity, pair it with the mobile
printer, and print!
The images come out in the form of 2.3 x
3.4-inches wallet-friendly photos, but with adhesive backs so you can stick
them wherever users please. Polaroid says printing takes less than a minute and
claims the photos are water-resistant. The battery is supposedly good for 20
prints before you need to charge it using a Micro-USB cable again. The Hi-Print
mobile printer is now available on Polaroid's US website for USD 99.99 in direct conversion. The 20-sheet printer cartridge costing US$ 16.99
is sold separately. You can also spend USD 129.99 for a starter
set that comes with the printer and 40 sheets of paper. Other retailers, like
Best Buy and Amazon, will have it on Sept. 10.
There is no word yet on Philippine
availability and pricing.
