Cricket Wireless announced the upcoming release of a new smartphone made by LG. Called LG Stylo
4, the handset is a US variant of the LG Q Stylus (officially unveiled in early
June).
Cricket will sell the LG Stylo 4 beginning tomorrow,
June 29, for US$ 229.99. That's not a bad price for what the phone has to offer,
starting with a large 6.2-inch, 1080 x 2160 pixels display, and a stylus pen
with various dedicated apps: Pen Pop, Gif Capture, Screen-off Memo, and others.
Running Android 8 Oreo, the Stylo 4 further features
an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage
space, fingerprint scanner, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing
camera. The handset also packs a 3300 mAh battery with fast charging.
The LG Stylo 4 will be available at Cricket in two
colors: black and metallic lavender. Interestingly, last week, the new
smartphone was released by T-Mobile's MetroPCS, but in a variant with just 2 GB
of RAM. On the plus side, MetroPCS currently asks only US$ 179 for its Stylo 4.
