ASUS
has launched its new A series laptops in the Indian market. The new laptop
models, the ASUS A553, A555LF and A555LA, come loaded with the latest Intel
hardware. The ASUS A553 is an entry-level offering, while the other two
notebooks, the ASUS A555LF and A555LA, are for those who are looking for a more
premium design and better configuration.
The
ASUS A553 offers a 15.6-inch 1,366 x 768 pixel HD display, and is powered by a
2.16 GHz quad-core Intel Pentium N3540 processor, aided by 4 GB of RAM. It comes
with a 500 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 4400, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port,
Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. DOS is the OS it ships with.
The
ASUS A555LF and A555LA on the other hand, are powered by 1.7 GHz ntel Core i3
processors, and come with 15.6-inch HD displays. You get 1 TB hard drives for
storage, while the connectivity options remain standard. You can choose between
either DOS or Windows 10 as far as the software platform is concerned. The key
difference between these two models is graphics prowess, as the A555LF uses a
combination of NVIDIA GeForce 930M 2 GB DDR3 and Intel HD Graphics 4400, while
the A555LA only utilises the latter.
The
ASUS A553 is being offered at a starting price of Rs 23,000, while the A555LF
and A555LA will be available for Rs 34,190 and Rs 28,990 respectively. Various
hues are on offer for all three laptops.
