Toughpad FZ-Y1
Panasonic
has launched its latest 20-inch 4K Toughpad FZ-Y1 Windows-powered tablet in
India for enterprise consumers. The company claims that it is the world’s first
20-inch tablet PC with 4K resolution. The device was first showcased at CES in
2013. The tablet features scratch-resistant glass, and can withstand accidental
drops from up to 76 centimetres.
The
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 features a 20-inch (3,840 x 2,560 pixels) 10-finger
capacitive multi-touch display and runs Windows 8.1 Pro. It is powered by a
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-5300U vPro processor, aided by 8 GB of DDRL SDRAM. The
device comes with 256 GB of SSD storage, and can accept microSD cards up to 64 GB
in size. It has an HD front camera, Intel dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR
Class 1, USB 3.0, an Ethernet port, and a Mini DisplayPort. The device is
backed by a rather meagre 4,770 mAh battery, and has ambient light sensor,
magnetic sensor, gyro sensor, acceleration sensor and Smart Card reader.
