HP Envy Note 8


HP has unveiled the Envy Note 8 tablet with stylus pen support. The slate ships with a free stylus pen and an optional 10-inch HP Envy Note Keyboard Folio case. The keyboard dock has an aluminium design, a click-pad, landscape and portrait usage modes, and a small loop on the side to hold the bundled stylus pen.

The HP Envy Note 8 comes with an 8-inch full HD IPS display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.84 GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor, aided by Intel HD Graphics and 2 GB of RAM. Storage capacity on board is 32 GB, further expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card. It has a 5 MP autofocus rear snapper with full HD video recording, and a 2 MP front snapper. It has 4G support via a SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. The slate offers up to 6.25 hours of battery life. It also comes with Bang & Olufsen powered speakers.


The HP Envy Note 8 runs Windows 10 out of the box. It comes with the HP Instant Note application that lets you take notes by simply pressing the button on the stylus. The notes are automatically saved to OneNote, and can be accessed via the HP Notes Hub.

The HP Envy Note 8 has been priced at US$ 329. The tablet, stylus and HP Envy Note Keyboard Folio case bundle is being offered for US$ 429. The device will go on sale in the US starting November 8th.
