Motorola is teasing a new smartphone that it's going to be launching in India soon. According to the brand, this will be the world's slimmest "military grade phone" - meaning the thinnest handset to have a MIL-STD-810 certification for ruggedness. It will be offered by Flipkart, and will be protected against accidental drops, shakes, extreme heat, extreme cold, and humidity.
It's unclear what device this is, but some
are speculating it could be the recently leaked Motorola Edge 50 Neo. This will
be the successor to the Edge 40 Neo launched last September. It will allegedly
be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with either 8GB of RAM
and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It's said to have a 6.5-inch 120 Hz pOLED
display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main,
13 MP ultrawide, 10 MP telephoto), a 32 MP selfie shooter, and a 4,310 mAh
battery. It will be 8.1mm thick and will weigh 171g. It's expected to be
offered in four colorways: Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana.
