Google might launch the Pixel 9a in March 2025, but a full specs sheet of the smartphone already appeared online. Multiple sources told Android Headlines that the new phone will have a big 6.3" display, which is the same screen from the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro flagships.
Google is expected to equip the Pixel 9a
with its latest Tensor G4 chipset, coupling it with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256
GB storage. The leak also confirmed once again the 5,000 mAh battery, which
will support up to 18W wired and 7.5W wireless charging.
The new phone is expected to have the 48
MP Sony IMX787 sensor in its main camera that is also in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Alongside it will be a 13 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 13 MP selfie camera
inside a punch hole at the front.
Dimentions of the Google Pixel 9a are
154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm with a body that weighs 186 grams. The larger battery and
display will not affect the price; once again, it will begin from US$ 499, just
like its predecessor.
