Sharge has launched a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter for the Shargeek 140 portable power bank. As highlighted in its name, the compact power bank is capable of delivering a total maximum output of 140W when charging two devices simultaneously. The launch is coming barely four months after the company unveiled the Shargeek 170 or the global market using the same crowdfunding model.
The Shargeek 140 power bank has a capacity
of 20,000mAh and can recharge several devices multiple times on a full charge.
For example, Sharge says the power bank can fully recharge an iPhone 15 Pro
four times or a MacBook Pro once. The device features a 100W USB-C and a 40W
USB-A output when both ports are engaged simultaneously. The power bank’s smart
display gives the user the battery status of the device. The charging accessory
also has a low currency mode for earbuds and smartwatches.
Sharge says the safety features of the
Shargeek 140 means it is safe to carry on a flight. It has a transparent black
exterior. The 158 x 65 x 30.5mm dimensions of the power bank highlight its
compact design. The product is also sufficiently lightweight, weighing just
about 0.5kg.
The original price of the power bank is US$ 109 and the gadget will ship to several countries including the US, Australia,
and the Netherlands. The estimated delivery date for the Shargeek 140 is July
2024. Interested buyers can head to the Shargeek 140 project page to pledge US$ 79
for a 35% discount. The Kickstarter campaign for the product has already
surpassed its goal and it is expected that Sharge will show fidelity in meeting
its obligations. Sharge has also not provided any information on the general
release date for the product.
