Motorola announced the Edge 50 Fusion upper-midrange smartphone in mid-April for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, and now the device is almost ready to make its debut in India as well. The Edge 50 Fusion will be launching in India on May 16, according to Motorola itself. It will be offered through Motorola's own Indian website, as well as Flipkart and "all leading retail stores".
The Edge 50 Fusion comes with a 6.7-inch
1080x2400 144 Hz OLED screen with 1,600-nit peak brightness, the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 8/12GB of RAM, 128/256/512GB of storage, a 50 MP
main rear camera with OIS and Sony's Lytia LYT-700C sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide
with autofocus, a 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support
for 68W fast wired charging. It runs Android 14.
For now it's unclear how much it will cost
in India, but the official launch is only eight days away, so we'll surely find
out soon.
