Apart from the Watch Fit 3, HUAWEI also announced the new 2024 Matebook 14 Global edition. The new MateBook comes with a lot of changes. Now it features a new refreshing design in a Green colorway apart from the usual Metallic Silver.
Another upgrade seen is the 14.2-inch OLED
touchscreen with 2.8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, accurate ΔE
< 1 color grading, sRGB, P3 and Adobe RGB color gamuts, 1920Hz
high-frequency PWM dimming and 3:2 aspect ratio, 450nits of peak brightness.
Inside, the Mate 14 2024 now uses the latest Intel chips with AI known as the
Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors with Intel Arc-based iGPUs. It is also paired with
16GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage options.
For battery, the laptop uses 70WHr capacity
which HUAWEI claims can last up to 19 hours of 1080p video playback. To charge
the notebook, it comes with the usual 65W power brick. It also sports a 1080p
camera and 2x microphones for your video conferences. Other features noted are
the Shark Fin dual-fan cooling system to keep the temperatures in check. It
also has a full-size keyboard with a touchpad for controls.
For I/O it comes with 1x USB-C, 2x USB-A
3.2 Gen 1, 1x HDMI, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. For wireless connectivity, it has
WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as the HUAWEI Metaline for
improved signals. On the software side, it runs Windows 11 Home Edition.
