HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S PaperMatte Edition

Technology giant HUAWEI earlier showcased the new MatePad 11.5"S PaperMatte Edition in Dubai. It is the company's newest tablet boasting an improved display and PC-level functionalities, among others.

The new tablet features a large 11.5-inch TFT LCD (IPS) HUAWEI PaperMatte Display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2.8K 2800 x 1840 resolution at 291 ppi, P3 color gamut, and 3:2 aspect ratio. Since it is a HUAWEI PaperMatte Display, the screen is not prone to unwanted glares.

The device is powered by an unspecified Kirin chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The tablet also has a large 8,800mAh battery capacity with USB-C 22.5W fast charging support. For cameras, it comes with a 13MP f/1.8 back shooter with AF and an 8MP f/2.0 selfie snapper that you can also use for video calls.

The tablet also features 4x speakers with HUAWEI Histen 9.0 audio optimizations and 2x microphones for better calls. To enhance its WiFi 6 connection, HUAWEI also added the Cavity Slot Magnetic (CSM) Antenna and anti-interference NearLink Antenna on this tablet. Support for NearLink M-Pencil (3rd generation) with 10,000+ pressure sensing levels and NearLink Keyboard with low latency.

Support for GoPaint App with 110+ professional brushes and paper-like canvases as well as the FangTian Painting Engine which supports a "myriad of layers". The tablet also features a PC-level WPS office with a familiar laptop interface and layout on a tablet and the upgraded HUAotes with Note Replay feature and simultaneously displays audio and handwritten content.

The tablet runs with HarmonyOS 4.2. Of course, it has the HUAWEI SuperHub tech for easy file transfer on connected devices like PCs and phones. This device also has the Multi-Window mode and App Multiplier for easier multitasking.
