Lenovo is planning to introduce a fully transparent laptop concept at MWC 2024, a teaser and leaked renders confirm. Today, an image was posted by Evan Blass, revealing the see-through laptop.
The cover part of the laptop is made
entirely of transparent OLED – a display technology that both LG and Samsung
have been developing for a while now. The deck is also see-through, although
the main components appear to be hidden under the opaque chin. There is also a
slight bezel around the rim, likely for the ports and antennas – the rest is a
touch-sensitive keyboard embedded into the panel.
We will be at the Mobile World Congress in
Barcelona, and we will try and make our way to the booth for some hands-on
experience. There, we also expect to see a ThinkBook 14 G4 that will be a
proper 2-in-1 with a 360-degree hinge, a ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 with Intel and AMD
chips, a T14S with a notch, a bigger T16 Gen 3 laptop, and a second-gen
ThinkPad X12 Detachable.
