On Dec. 5, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 12 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in China. As confirmed by the brand during the launch, the phone is now available for purchase for the first time, starting today in the home market. Here is a look at the price and specifications of the device. The OnePlus 12 comes in four options in China, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage, and 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. These variants are priced at 4,299 Yuan (US$ 598), 4,799 Yuan (US$ 668), 5,299 Yuan (US$ 738), and 5,799 Yuan (US$ 807), respectively. It comes in three shades, such as black, green, and silver.
The OnePlus 12 has a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED
screen that produces a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device ships
with ColorOS 14-based Android 14. For security, it has an in-screen fingerprint
sensor. On the front, the OnePlus 12 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the
back, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel LYT-808 main camera with OIS
support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto
camera with 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 has the
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is equipped with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and
up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is backed by a 5,400mAh battery that
supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. In related news, the
OnePlus 12 is scheduled to launch on Jan. 23 in the global market. It is likely
that other devices, such as the OnePlus 12R and the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro TWS
earbuds, will also debut alongside the OnePlus 12.
