On Facebook, vivo announced that that the Y12s budget smartphone is now available in the Philippines. vivo Y12s is a style-focused budget smartphone featuring a 2.5D curved glossy back design in Glacier Blue and Phantom Black colors. It also has a modern-looking rectangular camera hump housing the 13MP + 2MP dual-cam with LED flash.
In front, it has a 6.51-inch LCD (IPS)
panel with HD+ resolution and a notch for the 8MP f/1.8 selfie shooter. Inside,
it is powered by the 2.3GHz 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor with PowerVR
GE8320 GPU by Taiwanese chip giant MediaTek. It is paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB
expandable storage, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with micro USB 18W fast
charging tech.
Making its back design clean is the use of
a side-mounted fingerprint reader which is rare at this price point. The device
runs Android 11 OS with Funtouch OS 11 skin.
