Samsung is expected to host its next Unpacked on January 17, where the Galaxy S24 series will be introduced. The event is taking place in the United States, and now one leakster claims to reveal the pre-order and sales timeline. According to Tarun Vats, pre-orders will begin right after the event, with shipments expected to arrive between January 26 and 30, followed by a full market launch after that.
The event will take place in San Jose, he
says, which technically is not the same as San Francisco but is in the same Bay
Area where plenty of the tech companies are based, including Google at Mountain
View, Facebook at Palo Alto, and Apple at Cupertino.
The trio of Galaxy S24 flagships should
arrive with the same design as their predecessors, but we expect plenty of
software improvements, including One UI 6.1 and Generative AI called Gauss. We
expect the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ to have Exynos 2400 in certain markets,
while the S24 Ultra will only come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a boosted
major Cortex-X4 core of the CPU.
