Oukitel unveiled the WP19 rugged smartphone last June, and we've learned the brand will launch the Pro model next month, possibly on December 12. We've got some details about the Oukitel WP19 Pro, including its images, so let's look at what it will offer. The Oukitel WP19 Pro will be powered by the Helio G99 SoC and have 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage onboard, expandable by up to 2TB. It will run Android 13 out of the box, but we don't know how many OS version upgrades it will receive.
The Oukitel WP19 Pro will feature a
6.8" FullHD+ LCD with Gorilla Glass protection and a 120Hz refresh rate,
an upgrade over the WP19's 90Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity has also
increased by 1,000 mAh, meaning the WP19 Pro will pack a massive 22,000 mAh
cell. The charging speed remains the same at 33W. The rugged smartphone will
sport four cameras - 64MP primary (Samsung sensor), 20MP Night Vision (Sony
sensor), 2MP macro, and 16MP selfie.
The WP19 Pro will be marketed with the
tagline "Safest and Toughest 22,000 mAh Explorer+" and come with
IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications. It will be 29mm thick and weigh
592.3g. We'll know more about the Oukitel WP19 Pro's pricing and availability
next month.
