Samsung hasn't divulged anything about the Galaxy A15 4G and Galaxy A15 5G we've been hearing about for months. However, multiple leaks have given us a fair idea of what to expect from these smartphones. And while we await official details about their debut, the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G has been certified by Thailand's NBTC, moving it a step closer to launch.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 4G's listing on the
Thai certifying authority's website confirms it has model designation
SM-A155F/DSN but doesn't corroborate leaked specs. However, thanks to Geekbench,
we know it will come with the Helio G99 SoC, Android 14, and 4GB RAM. The
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, on the other hand, is rumored to come with the Dimensity
6100+ chip, 4GB/6GB RAM, and up to 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via
microSD card.
The Galaxy A15 5G will pack a 6.5"
FullHD+ 90Hz screen and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging. It will sport a
13MP camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the rear, headlined by a
50MP camera with 10x zoom. The other two cameras will have 5MP and 2MP sensors.
The Galaxy A15 5G is said to feature a
side-mounted fingerprint scanner and come in blue and black colors. It's
rumored to cost US$ 149 in the US and around € 250 in Europe. Samsung is also
rumored to launch the Galaxy A15 4G in the European market.
