Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W 32″


After unveiling the Evnia 49M2C8900 5K monitor in August, Philips is back with a new monitor called the Evnia 32M2C5500W. This 32-inch curved monitor has a high resolution, high refresh rate panel crafted for immersive and fast-paced gaming.

The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W monitor features a 31.5-inch VA LCD panel. Boasting wide 178-degree viewing angles and an anti-glare coating, this monitor delivers a crisp resolution of 2560 x 1440 at an impressive 240 Hz refresh rate. With a swift 0.5 ms response time, the display ensures smooth and clear motion, complemented by a high 4000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and bright whites. It holds DisplayHDR 400 certification, enhancing HDR performance, and covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for rich and accurate colors. Additionally, the monitor offers an sRGB mode for color-accurate work, a LowBlue Mode to reduce eye strain, and an EasyRead mode for comfortable on-screen reading.

The monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology for tear-free gaming, and it also has a low input lag for fast response times. It also has a SmartImage game mode for optimized gaming performance and a SmartUniformity feature for consistent brightness across the screen.

In terms of connectivity, the monitor features two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a USB 3.2 hub with four ports and fast-charging capabilities, a USB-B upstream port, an audio out port, and a sync input port. Other notable features include flicker-free technology for reduced eye strain and VESA wall-mount compatibility for versatile placement options.

The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W will be priced at € 549 in the Eurozone and £ 429.99 in the UK. The exact launch date is currently unavailable, however, the monitor is expected to hit store shelves by the end of this month.
