With the OnePlus 12 launch in China fast approaching, more details about the next-gen Android flagship are starting to emerge. Tipster DigitalChatStation shared a lengthy post on Weibo which focuses on the OP 12’s display while also providing real-life images of the device and it’s BOE X1 display. OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO OLED with 1,440 x 3,168 px resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The BOE-made panel measured an industry-leading 4,500 nits of peak brightness in auto mode and 1,722 nits with the manual slider in normal use.
In addition, the new leak shares that the
OnePlus 12’s display features an average Just Noticeable Color Difference
(JNCD) value of 0.35 and an A+ certification from DisplayMate for exceptional
brightness and color accuracy.
The new screen is joined by Oppo’s P1
display chip and features 2,160Hz PWM dimming for added eye protection. We also
know that the new BOE-developed panel will offer improved color accuracy with
sunlight highlighting algorithms and single-pixel calibrating technology.
