The Oppo A18, which was introduced in the Indian market earlier this month following its launch in the UAE, falls within the budget range. This device is equipped with the Helio G85 SoC and features a responsive 90Hz display. Now, slightly over a week later, the brand has released the 4GB/128GB variant of this smartphone in India.
The Oppo A18 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model
is priced at ₹ 11,499 and is available to purchase on Flipkart. On the other
hand, the 4GB RAM + 64GB model is priced at ₹ 9,999. The Oppo A18 packs several
notable features into its budget-friendly offering. Its 6.56-inch LCD display
delivers HD+ resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and an impressive
peak brightness of 720 nits. Running on the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, it’s backed
by LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.
This smartphone operates on ColorOS 13.1,
which is based on Android 13. For photography, it offers an 8MP rear camera
with a 2MP depth sensor, as well as a 5MP front camera. It includes a MicroSD
card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB
Type-C port. Connectivity is comprehensive, featuring 5G support, dual-band
