Google is ready to launch the Pixel 8 series on October 4. While the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will have the spotlight, the search giant will also sneak in two new color variants of its Pixel Buds Pro. The earbuds will be launched in new Bay Blue and Porcelain shades. Ahead of the launch, a report has shared how these new colors will look. The Tech Outlook, in collaboration with OnLeaks, has shared detailed images of the Pixel Buds Pro in Bay and Blue, as well as Porcelain. As expected, the design of the earbuds remains the same as the original. To remind you, the earbuds are currently offered in Coral, Lemongrass, Fog, and Charcoal color options.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro sport a
lightweight in-ear design. They come equipped with 11mm drivers and feature
active noise cancellation. The earbuds also get a feature called Silent Seal,
which is claimed to adapt to the user’s ear and improve noise cancelation.
Pixel Buds Pro bring a 6-core audio chip that runs Google-developed algorithms.
The Pixel Buds also have a transparency
mode that lets you hear ambient sound. They have a solid battery life, but it’s
not the best we’ve seen. With ANC off, they can last up to 11 hours, and with
ANC on, they can last up to 7 hours. The total playback time with the case is
claimed to be up to 31 hours. Further, the Pixel Buds have an IPX4
water-resistant build, while the case is IPX2 water-resistant. They support
USB-C and Qi wireless charging, and they have multipoint connectivity, which
lets you pair them with multiple devices at the same time. However, their
Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is a bit outdated, considering that even US$ 25 earbuds
now come with Bluetooth 5.2.
