Honor 90

After a three-year hiatus, Honor smartphones are officially back in India. Honor 90 is the first phone to launch in India since 2020 and it’s brought in collaboration between HTech (Honor India) and PSAV Global which handled distribution for Honor laptops, smartbands and tablets over the past three years.

Honor 90 features a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1200 x 2664 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor is also proud of its 3,840Hz PWM dimming feature which should protect your eyes from flicker and harmful blue light. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage (non-expandable).

The back houses a 200MP main camera (1/1.4" sensor size and 0.56 µm pixels) based on the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 alongside a 12MP ultrawide module and a 2MP depth helper. There’s a 50MP front-facing cam with a 100-degree field of view. Software is handled by Magic OS 7.1 based on Android 13 while the 5,000 mAh battery supports up to 66W fast charging.

Honor 90 comes in Diamond Silver, Emerald Green and Midnight Black colors. Pricing starts at INR 37,999 (US$ 458) for the 8/256GB trim and goes up to INR 39,999 (US$ 482) for the 12/512GB model. Honor is offering free Honor Buds valued at INR 5,000 with early purchases alongside an INR 3,000 bank discount and INR 2,000 exchange offer. Open sales kick off on 18 September (12 noon) from Amazon India.
