Xiaomi is expected to launch the 13T series soon, and the 13T Pro version appeared in leaked renders. The phone looks a lot like the Redmi K60 Ultra, but the leak suggests the cameras will be more powerful. The smartphone will arrive in Black and Blue with a square camera island, with the first color being under a glass panel while the second being part of a vegan leather design.
The screen is expected to be the same
6.67” OLED with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1220p resolution. The chipset is
likely a Dimensity 9200+, as seen on Geekbench earlier this month. The camera
on the back will be Leica-branded and should bring a 50 MP main shooter with a
Sony IMX707 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto with no more than 3x optical zoom, while
the ultra-wide-angle cam will be 13 MP.
The overhaul in the camera department is
affecting only the shooters on the back - the front-facing cam will remain 20
MP, just like in the Redmi K60 Ultra. Other specs that are likely to remain
unchanged are the IP68 rating, the 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging
and the lack of a micro SD slot or a 3.5 mm audio jack.
One rumor suggested Xiaomi could launch
the 13T and the Pro on September 1, and if our assumptions are in the right
direction, Lei Jun might be having one of his long announcements at IFA Berlin.
