Sony Electronics announces the newest soundbar in the Philippines called the HT-S2000. According to the brand it features 3.1ch Dolby Atmos/ DTS:X support that can deliver cinematic surround sound through its Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround. Sony also takes pride in their newly developed mixer, as this will allow its soundbar to deliver a 3D surround experience when playing stereo content. The brand also continued that its built-in dual subwoofer can produce deep bass and if partnered with the center speaker it can bring clear sound as well.
Meanwhile, Sony mentioned that the key to
achieving louder sound pressure with less distortion and greater vocal clarity
lies with the X-balanced Speaker unit. There's also the optional wireless
subwoofer (SA-SW5/ SA-SW3) that can bring further rich bass sound. And to make it even more cinematic, users may
also want to add the optional rear speaker SA-RS3S. Moreover, the speakers are
compatible with BRAVIA XR TV as it can seamlessly detect them on the BRAVIA
Quick Settings menu for easier controls.
Speaking of controls, there's also the
Home Entertainment Connect app from Sony. The brand claims it can aid the user
through initial settings, assist with troubleshooting and provide full control
for volume, sound fields, and more right from their handsets. Additionally, it
provides users useful information like the recommendation of features, new
software updates, and more.
Lastly, Sony talks about sustainability.
The aforementioned soundbar is made of recycled plastic in several parts of it.
The company also stated that its packaging is made from 95 percent of recycled
paper to minimize the use of plastic.
