Motorola's Moto G53 launched back in December, and the company is already hard at work preparing its successor, which will unsurprisingly be called Moto G54. We've seen it in some not very amazing leaked renders around the beginning of this month, but today we're in for a treat. The legendary leakster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has gotten his hands on some very much official-looking press renders of the upcoming mid-range device. Here they are for your enjoyment.
We see three of the rumored four colorways
that are set to launch: Outer Space (dark gray), Coronet Blue (the vivid blue),
and what is probably Ambrosia. Additionally, there will be a Ballad Blue
version too. In case you're wondering about the strange names, these are
Pantone color names. Motorola has an ongoing partnership with Pantone, hence
why these are the way they are.
According to past rumors, the G54 is
expected to ship with a 6.5" FHD+ touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, a
50 MP main rear camera, a 16 MP selfie snapper, up to 8GB of RAM and up to
256GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery. That's a doubling of the
maximum storage compared to its predecessor, and it also has a higher-res
screen, but otherwise, there don't seem to be any updates.
