Sony has expanded its range of wireless speakers in India. The latest offering from the Japanese brand is the SRS-XV800. It is said to be built to party with loud and clear sounds. Read on to know what it offers out of the box. The Sony SRS-XV900 Bluetooth wireless speaker features a cylindrical-shaped design. It has a convenient built-in handle and wheels that make it easier for users to relocate the speaker. It is IPX4-rated water-resistant. The top panel has intuitive touch controls. There is also ambient lighting that automatically syncs to the beat and rhythm of the music.
In terms of audio, the Sony SRS-XV800 is
equipped with an X-Balanced speaker unit for deep and powerful bass. There are
three front tweeters, two rear tweeters, and two woofer units. The speaker is
said to offer an omnidirectional party sound. The audio device features a TV
Sound Booster function that enhances the sound of audio-visual content such as
live performance videos and movies for an immersive experience.
Users can enjoy karaoke by plugging in a
microphone to the Sony SRS-XV800. There is also a mic and guitar input.
Connectivity options on the speaker include stereo mini jack, USB-A, optical
digital input, and Bluetooth fast pair. The Sony SRS-XV800 is claimed to offer 25
hours of battery life and supports quick charging. The speaker is compatible
with Sony Music Centre and Fiestable apps.
The Sony SRS-XV800 is priced at Rs 49,990.
It will be available for purchase starting July 14 from Sony Centers, major
electronic stores, and e-commerce portals in India.
