We are now half past 2023 and it’s about time for the Redmi Note 13 series leaks. The new mid-range lineup should launch sometime later this year in China and reports suggest it will run MIUI 15 out of the box. While the details about the series are still pretty short, a Redmi Note 13 smartphone has been spotted on the EEC certification site alongside a mysterious Redmi phone.
The Tech Outlook has spotted a Redmi
smartphone with model number 2312DRAABG on the EEC certification website.
Previous IMEI listing suggests this model number belongs to a Redmi Note 13
series smartphone. However, it’s not clear if it’s the vanilla model or one of
the Pro phones. The outlet has also discovered an unknown Redmi phone on EEC
with model number 23090RA98G. Could it be another Note 13 series phone? It’s
possible but we would have to wait for more details.
As usual, the certification listing did
not reveal anything interesting apart from the model numbers of the two phones.
The leaks about the Note 13 lineup have just started to pick up and we hope to
see bigger developments in the days to come.
So far, it is known that Redmi Note 13
phones will run MIUI 15. The custom skin could either be based on Android 13 or
Android 14. Reports also claim that the upcoming phones will get a 6.7-inch
centered punch-hole OLED display. The panels on the smartphones are said to
lack plastic brackets like premium smartphones and offer minimal bezels on all
four sides.
Currently, there’s no news about the
launch date of the phones. A Chinese tipster hinted at a launch sometime in the
half of this year.
