Lava's upcoming Agni 2 smartphone now has an official launch date for India: May 16. This was unveiled today by the company itself through its official Twitter account. The phone will be available to purchase only on Amazon. The launch event will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook at 12 PM local time.
The aforementioned tweet also shows us the
handset's huge camera island, housing four sensors and a flash, each of these
in their own circular mini-islands. The text around the edges of the main
island confirms the 50 MP main camera with 1/1.55" sensor size and f/1.88
aperture.
Previously leaked specs for the Agni 2
include an AMOLED screen with an embedded fingerprint sensor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB
of storage, and Android 13 on board. The Agni 2 will be the first phone
launching in India with the new MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and it's been
rumored to cost INR 19,999.
