Samsung has two new mid-range smartphones in development called the Galaxy M34 5G and Galaxy F34 5G. Going by the naming conventions, we can expect the devices to be positioned in the lower mid-range, slightly below the existing Galaxy A34 5G model. There have been no confirmations from the brand yet, however, the devices have appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, which is a mandatory certification to have if you want to launch your smartphone in India.
The highly anticipated launch of the
Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and Galaxy F34 5G is expected to take place in the
upcoming weeks, not just in India but also in other markets. Both devices have
been spotted on the BIS website, with the model numbers SM-M346B/DS for the
Galaxy M34 5G and SM-E346B/DS for the Galaxy F34 5G.
While the BIS listing doesn’t provide any
additional specifications for the phones, however, recent trends have revealed
that the Galaxy M & F series have a lot in common with their A-series
counterparts when it comes to specifications. So, let’s look at the specs of
the Galaxy A34 5G to get an idea of what to expect from the two upcoming
devices.
The device features a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED
display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a
waterdrop notch at the top of the screen housing the front camera. The phone
also has an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and support for AI face
unlock. It runs Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5 on top, ensuring a
clean and intuitive user experience.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is a mid-range
smartphone that packs some impressive specs. Powered by a Dimensity 1080 SoC
and paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, the A34 5G promises
smooth performance and ample space for your files and apps. It features a
triple-camera setup on the back, led by a 48MP main camera with OIS support, an
8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor. There is also a 32MP
front-facing camera for selfies.
