Coolpad Cool 30, a new smartphone from the Chinese brand, is now available for pre-order in the company’s home market through online marketplace JD.com. The phone comes in three options — 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB, costing 699 yuan (US$ 102), 799 yuan (US$ 117), and 899 yuan (US$ 131), respectively.
The smartphone can be pre-ordered with a
deposit of just 1 yuan, and those who pre-order the device will get a 100 yuan
(US$ 15) discount on the final payment.
Coming to the specifications, the Coolpad
Cool 3 features a 6.51-inch LCD panel with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720
pixels and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Under the hood, the device is
powered by the MediaTek G85 processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB
of internal storage.
In the camera department, there’s a
48-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor on the
back panel, along with an LED flash. There’s also a 5-megapixel front-facing
snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The device runs the Android operating
system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Cool OS 2.0 custom user interface
on top. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and has a power-saving mode to
extend the battery life.
