Last year in October, Lava unveiled the Lava Yuva Pro with a price tag of Rs 7,799 (US$ 94). Now, it appears that the company has launched the successor edition of the device. Even though there has been no official announcement, the Yuva 2 Pro is already for sale in India in stores. Two Mumbai-based offline retailers have started selling the Yuva 2 Pro. Both retailers are selling the device with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage for Rs 8,499 (US$ 102). It comes in three colors, such as purple, white, and green.
The arrangement of the rear-facing cameras
and LED flash is similar to that of the recent iPhones. It appears that the
device is fitted with a waterdrop notch display. The device features a
side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Lava Yuva 2 Pro has a 6.5-inch LCD
panel that offers an HD+ resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37
chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The phone offers 3 GB of virtual RAM and 64 GB of UFS
storage. The triple camera unit of the device is headlined by a 13-megapixel
snapper. It is accompanied by a pair of VGA cameras. On the front, it has a
5-megapixel selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports
charging via the USB-C port.
It comes preloaded with the Android 12 OS,
which like other Lava phones offers a near-stock experience and anonymous call
recording. In addition, the device comes preloaded with a free subscription to
Doubtnut’s course materials for students in India.
