Xiaomi’s Redmi has unveiled its first projector, the Redmi Smart Projector, which will also be offered in the Pro variant, in addition to the Redmi Note 12 series and Smart TV X86, Xiaomi Book Air 13 in China. The Redmi Smart Projector is advertised with the slogan “the first smart projector for young people”.
Xiaomi and Yishu Technology customized a
closed optical machine to deliver high-definition true colour pictures. 1080P
physical resolution provides clear, crisp picture quality and realistic colour.
It offers an easy 100-inch screen projection with a 1.2:1 reach ratio. A
self-developed omnidirectional rectification AI clever algorithm can do this
automatically without repeated manual operation. The display features 150ANSI
true brightness and is certified for SGS low blue light.
The Amlogic T950D4 quad-core CPU powers
the projector and also has 1.5 RAM + 16GB of memory. The device includes dual
built-in speakers for audio along with WANOS® virtual sound field coding
technology. The popular dramas, blockbuster movies, animations, variety shows,
and sports are all updated at the same time on the mainstream video platform of
the MIUI TV Smart System.
The projector also incorporates the Xiao
Ai Smart Assistant and can be interconnected with more Mijia smart devices. It
also supports Bluetooth, Dual Band Wi-Fi, etc. The projector also has a black
appearance, full-texture design, is IP5X dust resistant, and also passed Xiaomi
durable tests.

yuan (US$ 138), while the Redmi Smart Projector Pro is
priced at 1299 yuan (US$ 179). Pre-orders are now
available, and the open sale will begin on October 31st, 2022 at Mi stores in
