Recently, the Vivo V25 Pro, Vivo V25, Vivo Y35, and Vivo Y22s were spotted in the database of the FCC certification platform. The V25 Pro is scheduled to launch on Aug. 17. It is unclear whether the vanilla V25 will be launched alongside it. The Vivo Y35 has gone official in Indonesia. It appears that it will not take too long for the Y22s to go official as a new report by Pricebaba has revealed its renders and specifications.
The Vivo Y22s renders show its design will
be similar to some of the existing Y-series phones from the brand. On the
front, it has a teardrop notch display. The rear shell of the device is fitted
with a dual-camera unit housed inside a square-shaped module. It probably
features a side-facing fingerprint scanner. As can be seen, the Y22s will be
available in black and blue shades.
The Vivo Y22s 4G will feature a 6.55-inch
IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution. For selfies, the device will arrive
with an 8-megapixel front camera. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel
primary lens, a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera, and an LED flash. The Y22s will
be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. The device will be equipped with 8 GB
of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. It is likely to come equipped with a
microSD card slot for more storage.
The Y22s will house a 5,000mAh battery
with 18W charging support. It is expected to boot to the Android 12 OS with
FunTouch OS 12 on top. The report has no information on the launch date or
price of the Y22s.
