Indian start-up Ambrane has unveiled the PowerVolt 12V UPS for routers for the domestic market bearing an introductory price of Rs. 999 (US$ 13). The router UPS is an easy-to-install device that provides uninterruptible backup power to your router. It delivers up to 4 hours of power backup for Wi-Fi or ADSL routers.
The PowerVolt Router UPS has a 6,000mAh
Lithium-ion battery while Polycarbonate is used in its construction to ensure
maximum durability. It features safety and protective features that guarantee
the seamless and safe operation of the device. It is BIS-certified and can be
used for 12V routers with a maximum rating of 2A. A smart LED indicator on the
router UPS shows charging/ discharging progress. Three connecting cables and
connections are included in the package.

PowerVolt Router UPS is Rs. 1,299 (US$ 17) but a discounted offer is available
via Flipkart for Rs. 999 (US$ 13). Ambrane is offering a 6-month warranty on the
