Vivo has a couple of phones lined up to launch in China. The Vivo X80 series, Vivo X Note, and Vivo X Fold foldable phones are expected to launch in the coming months. Apart from these devices, a few mid-range phones are also expected to debut in the home market. Recently, a Vivo phone with a V2180A model number was spotted at the TENAA certification site. Another device with a V2190A model number has bagged TENAA’s (via) approval. The specs of the V2190A indicate that it will be an upper mid-range device.
The Vivo V2190A handset has a 6.44-inch
AMOLED panel, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. Since the images
of the phone haven’t appeared in TENAA’s database, there is no word on its
final marketing name. The V2190A supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400
pixels. The Vivo 2190A has a 16-megapixel camera on the front for capturing
selfies and video calls. The rear side of the device has a 50-megapixel primary
camera, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The device is likely to
come preloaded with the Android 12 OS.
Under the hood, the V2190A is equipped
with a 2.8GHz octa-core SoC. It is expected to arrive in China in RAM variants
such as 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB. In terms of storage, it will offer options like
128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The V2190A will draw power from a 4,605mAh rated
value battery. At present, there is no word on the fast charging capabilities
of the V2190A. With TENAA certification in tow, the handset is likely to break
cover in the next few weeks in China.
