We've been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) for a few months now, which is expected to enter mass production in a few days and go official next month. Samsung hasn't divulged anything about the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) yet, but thanks to leaked specs and renders, we know what to expect from the tablet. And while we await an official word from Samsung about the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021), a fresh set of official images have surfaced showing the tablet in two new colors.
These pictures come courtesy of WinFuture,
and you can see that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) has the power button
and volume rocker on the right-side frame with a microphone, and on the left is
the SIM/microSD card slot. On the top is another microphone flanked by two
speakers, and at the bottom is the USB-C port with a pair of speakers and a
3.5mm headphone jack.
You also get a selfie camera on the
right-side bezel of the 10.5" 16:10 FullHD+ LCD, using a 5MP sensor.
Around the back is an 8MP primary camera with a black-colored ring, and below
it is the Samsung logo, which was placed in the center of the back panel in
previous leaks. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) has a Unisoc Tiger T618
SoC paired under the hood with 3 or 4GB of RAM. The tablet will have three
storage options (32/64/128GB) and run Android. The source doesn't tell us which
version exactly, but Geekbench suggests it will boot Android 11.
Fueling the entire package will be a 7,040
mAh battery, but it's unclear how fast it will charge. The rest of the
highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) include Dolby Atmos
support, face unlock, side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi, and LTE
connectivity. But there will also be Wi-Fi-only models for those who don't want
cellular connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) will
come in three colors and start at € 230 in Europe. The source says it will be
available in mid-January 2022.
