vivo unveiled the Y76s 5G about a couple of weeks ago, and today the company followed it up with the vanilla model. The vivo Y76 5G looks similar to the Y76s 5G, and the internals aren't all that different either since the only changes you see are in the chipset, OS, and camera departments.
The Y76s 5G comes with a Dimensity 810
SoC, Android 11-based OriginOS, and an 8MP selfie camera, whereas the Y76 5G
has a Dimensity 700 chip at the helm, boots Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11,
and sports a 16MP selfie unit. The vivo Y76 5G also has an additional 2MP depth
camera on the back, keeping company to the 50MP primary and 2MP macro units.
Oh, and the Y76 5G supports FM Radio as well.
The rest of the vivo Y76 5G's specs
include a 6.58" FullHD+ LCD, side-mounted fingerprint reader, USB-C port,
3.5mm headphone jack, 4,100 mAh battery, and 44W charging. The vivo Y76 5G
comes in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, and you also have the
option to virtually expand the RAM up to 4GB using the Extended RAM feature.
Additionally, the vivo Y76 5G comes with
Super Night Mode for the front and rear cameras, Ultra Stable Video, Dual-View
Video, Five-Dimensional Liquid Cooling System, Multi-Turbo, and Ultra Game Mode
2.0. The vivo Y76 5G is offered in Cosmic Aurora and Midnight Space colors and
will be available for purchase in Malaysia for RM 1,299 (US$ 310/€ 275) from the
company's official website. There's no word on availability in other markets,
though.
