Steam Deck

Steam Deck is finally available in the Philippines via GameXtreme. It starts at PHP 37,990 with the 64GB variant. As a recap, Steam Deck is Valve's very own portable gaming console. It features a 7-inch IPS screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, touch support, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also has the common controller requirements such as 2x analog sticks, a D-pad, XYAB face buttons, 2x shoulder buttons, 2x triggers, and 4x extra paddles at the back. It also has 2x trackpads for games that require mouse inputs. It also has stereo speakers below the trackpad.

Inside, it features a custom 3.5GHz AMD APU CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads. It also has a GPU with 8 RDNA 2 CUs. The TDP of the APU maxes out at 15W. It also has 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB NVMe SSD. It also has a 40Wgr battery that can last for 2 to 8 hours of gameplay depending on how heavy the game is. It charges via a 45W USB-C 3.0 power supply. Other features include twin microphones, a 3.5mm connector, multi-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 for communication. A USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection is also included for charging, data transfer, display, and audio. It works similarly to a USB-C port on a computer and lets you connect all of your devices to it, including a desktop display. Up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz can be supported using the DisplayPort 1.4 Alt-mode.

It runs SteamOS 3.0 which is an OS based on Arch Linus. It uses Proton to run Steam games meant for Windows. Proton has been improved over the years and has high compatibility success on a lot of Steam Games.
