Nubia has a few devices coming soon. There is the RedMagic 6 Racing/RedMagic 6R which was certified by the Bluetooth SIG earlier this week and by TENAA last week. There is also the next-gen Nubia Z series smartphone that is expected to launch as the Nubia Z30.
A phone believed to be the Nubia Z30
flagship has been spotted on the Chinese Communications Commission database.
The phone has the model number NX667J, and according to the listing, it
supports 120W fast charging among other ratings.
The next-gen Nubia Z-series smartphone is
expected to come with a lot of upgrades and it appears a faster charging
technology is one of the areas that has been upgraded. The Nubia Z20 launched
with support for 27W fast charging, so a jump to 120W is a big deal. If the
Nubia Z30 launches with 120W fast charging, it will be the second Nubia phone
released this year to support the fast charging technology. The RedMagic 6 Pro
gaming phone is the first.
A few days ago, a render alleged to be of
the Nubia Z30 was posted on the web, and it showed a device with a curved
display with no notch or hole punch, leading to speculations that it has an
under-display camera. The phone also has quad rear cameras and up to 100x zoom.
For fans of the dual-display design of the Nubia Z20, it appears Nubia has
dropped it based on the render of the phone.
With the phone already certified by the
3C, there is a chance the nubia Z30 will be announced this month.
