One of the key differences between the Meizu 18 and the Meizu 18 Pro is that the latter has support for wireless charging. The flagship phone can charge at 40W in both wired and wireless charging mode, and if you prefer wireless charging, you can now grab Meizu’s 40W wireless charger specially designed for the phone.
The charger which is officially called the
Meizu Vertical Wireless SuperCharger 40W is priced at ¥ 199 (US$ 31). Angled at
120° and with a square base, Meizu completes the design with a silver metallic
finish. The charger has two charging coils inside and you can place your phone
on it in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Meizu says that it has opted for a
vertical cooling design that improves cooling efficiency. It also claims that
the fan is quiet. The charger has multiple protections built-in including high
temperature, high voltage, low voltage, and foreign object detection.
The Meizu Vertical Wireless SuperCharger
40W will charge the Meizu 18 Pro from empty to full in 50 minutes. It is also
backward compatible with the Meizu 17 Pro which supports 27W wireless charging.
You can purchase the Meizu Vertical Wireless SuperCharger 40W now from Meizu’s
own online store, Tmall, JD.com, and Suning.
